This past weekend I travelled all the way to Thunder Bay for a referral wedding. In September, 2006, I shot Tosh and Chad’s wedding and Becky who knew Tosh, loved the pictures so much that she hired me to fly halfway across Canada to shoot her wedding! Talk about a fantastic experience!!!!
I absolutely love this picture taken during the ceremony. This was shortly after the bride walked down the aisle. The rings were tied to this cone and in the few seconds that it took the best man to untie the rings and hand the cone back to Dylan, he was already distracted!
Becky had the greatest flowers ever. I looooooved her super large wildflower bouquet!
Becky and Adam were married at the Visitor’s Centre on the Fort William Historical Site. After the ceremony they got in canoes and were paddled around the river a couple of times. We were supposed to get a real ride down the river but there was too much thunder and lighting for it to be safe!
After the canoes we headed right to the historical site and toured around the old buildings.
Some pipers played while Becky and Adam danced…. how sweet is that?
We headed to Lake Chippewa for the formals and you can see The Sleeping Giant in the background… very nice!
And although I could not convince Becky to trash her dress, they did have some fun walking through the water!
Next time I go to Thunder Bay, I want to spend more time and actually get to sight-see! Thanks you two, for the wonderful opportunity you gave me =)
WOW. I went to highschool with Becky and I knew of the upcoming wedding. I was so excited to see that pictures were posted of them.
SUCH gorgeous pictures…what a nice keepsake for a lifetime of memories!
