Timothy Lake

Our family has a cabin at Timothy Lake, which we always used to go to a lot when we were younger. These last couple of years, Ive been lucky if I have gotten to go once a year. This Labour Day weekend was my chance once again, so after shooting Carly and Dale’s wedding (pictures to come very soon), I headed off to the cabin. My mom, Cathy, brother, William, cousin, Devon, aunt, Kathleen, and Grandpa, Bill were there when I arrived, and my sister, Allison, and Chris showed up Sunday afternoon. It did a lot of raining while we were there… it tends to do that!! My Grandpa and I went on an adventure and after paddling across the lake, we went in search of Long Lake on foot. We found it, much farther along the trail than my Grandpa had remembered, but there it was. When we returned to the far edge of Timothy Lake, our canoe was gone, and the motor boat was in it’s place. Quite funny — the boys had come and switched boats on us!! I got some fun pictures of the boys going off the rope swing. I used to do that when I was much younger, now I don’t think I’m brave enough…haha. Hope you enjoy these… as always, camping at the cabin is great fun, the company is the best, and the food is superb!!!
