Calving Time

It’s calving time at my parents. We have 20 calves now, and about 20 more are expected. One set of twins so far. It has been extremely cold this march and we have had several calves start out in the house after we rescue them from near death.

This is Frosty who spent the first day of her life inside. Peaches and Cream were very excited about their new friend and Peachy even laid on top of Frosty to help keep her warm!

Just a few short days later, she was back at the barn enjoying her life as a normal calf.

And here are a few of her friends…

Many more to comes soon, including pictures of the one black calf in our brown herd. How did that happen?
