Welcome to the Robyn Louise Photography Blogsite!

In addition to photographing in the Cariboo area of BC, I am now in Grande Prairie, Alberta! I have moved up here for the spring / summer and am looking forward to booking some weddings in the area!

Weddings are visual - from the details you spent months planning, to the emotions when your families meet. My favourite story to tell with a camera is that of a couple in love, choosing to spend their lives together.

I take natural, expressive photographs and I document the emotional connections between people. Anyone can tell a person to smile and take their photograph, but I capture genuine emotions. I will shoot most of your day with minimal posing and capture your emotional moments from a distance without being intrusive.

I am a firm believer that attitude is everything and with enough love anything is possible. I enjoy the simple things in life. I am a cat lover, horse breeder, scuba diver and reiki giver.

My favourite books are Water for Elephants, The Celestine Prophecy, The Power, the Stephanie Plum bounty hunter series, and anything by Nora Roberts and Emily Giffin. I love rooibos and peppermint tea, homemade soup, country music, and road trips.

If I see an unusual animal in the wild, I look up it's meaning to determine the significance it has on my life at that moment in time.

My favourite weddings to shoot are in the country with beautiful landscapes and horses or on a white sandy beach with turquoise water and palm trees!
